Alpine farmhouse renovated in the 90's. Located in a very quiet area of the middle mountains. Panoramic terrace with a view over Montjoly, Bionnassay glacier and the Dôme du Goûter. Possible to stay for several days. Daily hikes. Tour du Vorrasset, Col de tricot, La Charme, Le Nid d'Aigle...
22 beds available. Accommodation in 2, 4 and 6 bed rooms. Shared bathrooms with shower water.
"à la carte" lunchtime menu.

Directions

See the global map

Access by car: from Saint-Gervais les Bains, follow signs for Les Contamines. At Bionnay, head for Bionnassay - climb to the car park at Le Crozat.
Restricted 4x4 access in July and August (prohibited from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm) except for residents.
Access by train: SNCF station at Saint Gervais le Fayet then take the Mont Blanc tramway to the Col de Voza stop and walk downhill for ten minutes towards Bionnassay.Access by foot: from Les Houches 2 hour hike uphill towards Col de Voza then 10 minutes downhill towards Bionnassay.
From Miage: Col de Tricot, the Tricot footbridge, Bellevue, Col de Voza and then head for Bionnassay or
Le Champel, La Pierre, Le Crozat and then towards Col de Voza.

Room with Half-Board (evening meal, overnight accommodation, breakfast + 1 token for the shower) = 55 €
Local tourist tax (over 18 years) = 0.80 €

Additional information

The Refuge du Fioux does not have a kitchen area.
For hygiene reasons sleeping bag or sack sheet is
(disposable bag sheet on sale at the refuge )

it is possible to have your linen washed in the machine (4.00 €)
Arrival time between 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Evening meal is served at 7 p.m. and breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
If you have a special diet (vegetarian, special allergy) please let us know on the day of your reservation
The day of your departure the refuge must be vacated no later than 8:30 a.m.
