Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Information as of 15 May 2020
We are currently in an exceptional situation.
Unfortunately, at the moment, we are not able to predict the exact conditions under which the Tour du Pays du Mont-Blanc will take place this summer.
As far as possible, we ask you to be patient and not to cancel your visit immediately. The various government directives are changing very quickly.
In France today, decisions will be taken on June 2nd, 2020 according to directives which will be national, but adapted to the prefectural and communal levels. Although without certainties to date, the hope of an opening to the public in June is very strong.
Meals and drinks on "take-away sales" are possible as of today.
The sanitary conditions that will be put in place by the accommodation providers will be complete and their respect is already requested.
Each refuge or gîte being unique in its configuration, an exact sanitary protocol will be set up for each accommodation.
Hikers will have to bring their own sleeping bag, pillowcase, complete toiletries, disinfectant, among other things.
The capacity of the refuges will be reduced.
Regular disinfection, all barrier gestures, all measures to guarantee the safety of guests and employees will be applied.
If you think you will have to cancel your trip, we offer you a credit note corresponding to the amount of the deposit paid and usable until the end of the year 2021.
Should you wish to have your deposit refunded, please contact each of the various establishments concerned individually, but please bear in mind that the tourism industry, and especially the accommodation industry, is in a very difficult economic situation!
We will keep you regularly informed of the evolution of the situation.
Thank you very much for your understanding!
See you soon in the Pays du Mont-Blanc !
