Romain and his team welcome you to the Refuge de Platé, a small refuge nestled in the heart of the Désert de Platé, a vast and unusual high altitude plateau made of limestone rocks sculpted by water (lapiaz) and flowery lawns.
You walk facing the Mont-Blanc chain. The distances between the refuges are ideal for family tours and you can also undertake the Tour des Fiz.
At the refuge, we like to treat ourselves at the table and small dishes concocted by our care await you for breakfast, lunch and evening meal.

From Passy: the "normal" route, from the Praz-Coutant or Plaine-Joux car parks, 2h30, unusual path.
From Flaine: 3h30 on foot or 1h from the top of the Grandes Platières cable car (ideal with the very young, beware of opening dates).
From Sixt : 6h00 by the Combe de Sales and the Col de la Portette
From Servoz SNCF station: 5h00, by the Lac Vert / Plaine-Joux / Chalets de Charbonnière

Additional information

The beds are divided into three dormitories, all in the same building, as well as in comfortably equipped tents,
a little away from the refuge.
WC and washbasins.
Free drinking water with half board.
